Toothache:
Clean the tooth that is hurting. Use warm salt water rinses to reduce inflammation and to remove any food trapped in between the teeth. Contact dentist if swelling or abscess occurs. If swelling is severe, seek immediate emergency care at your local emergency room.

Knocked out tooth:
Grab the tooth by the crown rather than the root, rinse (NO scrubbing) and attempt to reinsert into tooth socket and seek immediate dental care. If unable to reinsert, place tooth in milk (best), water, or in the floor of the mouth. Seek immediate dental care.

Apply ice 15 minutes on, 15 minutes off. Contact your dentist for emergency care.
